Definition: Large in quantity or number; abundant; plentiful.
-This definition is most widley used, because it is a well rounded definition all the other definitions fit into the one above.
Translated: Having a large amount of something.
Other forms: Copiously, Copiousness, Copiosity (all adverbs)

Example Sentences: 1. The farmer had a copious amount of crops, he didnt know what to do with it all.
2. On the t.v. show Man vs. Food, the host eats a copious amount of food as a competitve eatter.

When is it best used? You can basicly use this word in every day conversation. The definition is not to complicated to understand, so you can use this word confidently and with a wide range of people such as farmers, local hobos, and in job interviews.

Copious is like these words because they all express having a quanity or amount of an object, but is different from them because copious because expresses having too much or something.
Antonyms: Scanty, scares, meager.
Copious is basicly the exactly the opposite of these words. Example: Copious means, to have a lot of. Scanty means, not a lot of something. Completely opposite!

Zealous is like these words because they are all full of energy, however zealous is different because it is more about devotion and being strongly for something.

Antonyms: lethargic, apathetic, indifferent

2. A child can be zealous towards their favorite teddy bear by being best friends with it.
